Nuneham Viaduct restored to rail traffic
Rail is on the move again across Nuneham Viaduct. The bridge, in the south west of England, collapsed on 3 April, blocking the Didcot – Oxford railway and disrupting passenger and freight services between the south of England and the Midlands. Restoring the crossing over the River Thames has been an unexpected and major project for Network Rail, the national infrastructure agency.
