Global courier DHL says rail is the freight mode of the future

Undoubtedly known for their delivery trucks offering a parked on the pavement to your door service, the global express logistics carrier DHL says the future of the sector is rail, and a better parking regime. That’s the conclusion arrived at by the packets to pallets operator’s own report into the future of the market. Although the last mile is already part and parcel of their operations, they say the long haul is destined to hit the rails in the future.
