Hupac to start shuttle train service in Germany

Hupac is launching a new shuttle train service that will run from Ludwigshafen to Dorpen via Duisburg. The service will start on October 17 and there will initially be three weekly roundtrips.

From Duisburg and Ludwigshafen, the Swiss company offers various international connections. From Ludwigshafen, there are links to Italy Busto, Pomezia, and Bari. From Duisburg, Hupac offers international connections throughout Europe, including Vienna, Budapest, Ploiesti (Romania), Pancevo (Serbia), Stara Zagora (Bulgaria), and Halkali (Turkey).

The facilities involved in the service are the DUK terminal in Dorpen, the DIT terminal in Duisburg, and KTL terminal in Ludwigshafen. Departures from Dorpen will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. From Duisburg, trains will depart on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays. Trains are scheduled to leave Ludwigshafen on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
