LTG Cargo Polska, the Polish subsidiary of LTG Cargo, will start transporting poultry cargo on rail on behalf of Cedrob, one of Poland’s largest poultry producers. LTG Cargo Polska will start with 20 weekly roundtrips from Gdynia, in the north of the country, to various Polish cities.

For the service, LTG Cargo Polska will provide three locomotives and one or two sets of wagons, while Cedrob will make available its platforms and containers. “Using different routes will allow transporting up to 25,000 tonnes of different products for Cedrob per month,” said the LTG Cargo Polska in a press release.

LTG Cargo Polska is growing fast

LTG Cargo established its Polish subsidiary in 2020 when it signed a joint activity agreement with PKP Cargo for intermodal transportation to diversify its operations and reach out to international markets, which was approved in May 2021. The partnership with Cedrob is an example of this diversification process, as the company pointed out.

The growth of LTG Cargo Polska is also highlighted by the fact that since the beginning of 2022, the number of employees tripled. Moreover, the company opened a new office in Katowice at the beginning of September.
