Drone films freight train derailment in the US

On Saturday morning, a freight train derailed near Somerset Lane and Parkside Road in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. One of the freight cars of the Canadian Pacific train ran off the rails, derailing a tanker and seven other wagons. Some wagons ended up in a pond.

The freight train headed east through Pewaukee. The vehicle slowed down when a boxcar went off the rails. According to local media, the freight wagon was filled with wood. The rest of the freight wagons and tankers were empty.

Investigation into the cause of the derailment

No one was injured in the incident, and no hazardous materials were released. The tankers blocking Parkside Road were removed over the course of Saturday, allowing the lane to be cleared. Canadian Pacific Railroad investigates how the accident could have happened.
