TX Logistiks has leased two newly designed Vectron multi-system locomotives. With this, the 399th and the 400th Alpha Trains locomotives are now on track, of which 14 in total are in use by the German operator.

Back in 2017, Alpha Trains delivered the first Vectron MS to TX Logistik, with the slogan ‘Two poles with enormous tractive power’. “A great motto also for the future success of our long-term partnership”, says Shaun Mills, CEO of Alpha Trains Group. Since then, the company continued to deliver the units.

A total of 14 Vectron locomotives from Alpha Trains operate for the rail logistics experts from Troisdorf. With the current locomotive designs, the company is underlining its commitment to climate protection: “Sustainability and Green Logistics are part of our corporate strategy,” emphasises Gian Paolo Gotelli, CEO of TX Logistik. “We want to continue to expand this in the future.”

Fernando Pérez, Managing Director of the Locomotives Division of Alpha Trains, adds: “We are delighted that our 400th locomotive is on track with TX Logistik, one of our most long-standing and reliable customers over the years – a cooperation that we hope to continue expanding for many years to come.”
