The first train from Finland to India is currently on its way, running via the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC). This corridor has been on the agenda for Russia, Iran and India for a longer time. What else can we expect from this vital link?

That will be discussed by operator Nurminen Logistics in this week’s RailFreight Live. CEO Olli Pohjanvirta will explain what else they have planned in terms of rail transport from Finland to India. Olga Stepanova from the sales and business development knows the network very well and will highlight current bottlenecks and potential.

The stream is already planned. If you subscribe to our channel now, you will be notified when we go on air.

RailFreight Live

RailFreight Live is our weekly broadcast. You can watch the show live at 1 p.m CEST on our YouTube Channel and subscribe to stay updated on the latest news on the rail freight industry. You can also watch the show on our LinkedIn page if you follow the page of RailFreight.com.

In this week’s show, we also look at a video report from the port of Rotterdam, where the replacement of the Caland Bridge is explained by ProRail. The new structure will be established in the port this November, resulting to a 6-day closure for rail freight traffic. Although traffic will be disrupted for some days, the bridge will eventually lead to more efficient transport flows to the port of Rotterdam.
