RailCube has upgraded the design of its mobile app. With a few taps you can easily update the train composition, indicate whether you prefer a day, evening or night shift or request leave of absence while you are on the road.

RailCube is a simple and integrated software solution for operations management in the railway industry. The mobile phone app is meant for personnel on the ground. The company has now brought out the RailCube Mobile App v3.5, which in its own words has a “new look and feel”.

Fresh and bright

“We wanted to make the app look fresh and bright, delivering the user an experience that is more intuitive, user friendly and enjoyable while delivering data from the desktop to your mobile device”, says the IT firm.

“With a few taps you can change the number of the wagon, move wagons up and down the composition or switch the entire composition from back to front or vice versa. Or, you can enter preferences in your roster so the planner will create a roster that better suits your needs.”

Innovative, but easy to use

These are just a few examples of the functionalities. Other possibilities are storage of documents and certificates, document signing and the checking the validity of certificates and route knowledge to prevent them from expiring.
