TX Logistik gets own B licence in Denmark

From now on, the German rail logistics company TX Logistik AG (TXL) can perform transport services in the Danish rail network independently. The Danish Ministry of Transport has now issued the necessary B license, effective as of 8 June 2019.

The B licence is based on the A licence for TX Logistik in Sweden, which was newly issued in 2017. The background is that Denmark recognises the general part A for Sweden, and therefore in Denmark itself only the country-related part needs to be submitted.

“In consequence, we now have our own licences in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden, whose specifications and processes we control uniformly as part of a European safety management system”, says Mirko Pahl, CEO of TXLogistik.

TXL network

With the Danish B licence, TXL is also strengthening its European network. As Mirko Pahl remarks: “In transit to Sweden, we can now offer traction services independently on the overland link in addition to the marine connections.” The licence is therefore the piece which completes the jigsaw puzzle of flexibly connected transport from Scandinavia in all directions – be it destinations in the Benelux countries, Germany or the Italian ports.

In addition, TX Logistik intends to expand its business in the domestic markets of Denmark and Sweden, where it has set itself the goal of cautious and profitable growth.
