ProRail’s plan for track access surcharge for 2025-29 got rejected

The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Market (ACM), the Dutch body regulating market competition, rejected ProRail’s plan to implement a track access surcharge. This means that the Dutch infrastructure manager does not have the green light to additionally charge railway undertakings (RUs) for using the country’s railways between 2025 and 2029.
