Standard gauge project for key Valencia intermodal terminal has begun

Adif has kicked off an important project concerning connectivity in and around the port of Valencia. The Fonteta de Sant Lluís intermodal terminal, located just next to the port’s docks, is about to undergo upgrades aiming at the implementation of standard gauge tracks. The plan is for the terminal to acquire a seamless connection to the Mediterranean TEN-T Corridor, considering its critical position for inland-sea transport.
